Terms of Service

By accessing or using mybillrx.com (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

MyBillRX is a direct-to-consumer educational tool that analyzes uploaded dental bills, statements, and Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) using artificial intelligence to generate plain-English explanations of billing codes, charges, and insurance adjustments.

MyBillRX is:

• An educational and informational service only
• Not a healthcare provider, dental practice, or insurance company
• Not a licensed medical, dental, legal, or financial advisor
• Not affiliated with any insurance carrier, dental network, or government program

The analysis generated by MyBillRX is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute and should not be relied upon as medical, dental, clinical, legal, financial, or insurance advice.

MyBillRX does not:

• Diagnose any dental or medical condition
• Recommend or endorse any specific dental treatment
• Guarantee the accuracy of any bill, claim, or insurance determination
• Provide legal advice regarding billing disputes
• Advise on whether to appeal a claim or take any action with your insurer

You should always verify billing information with your dental provider and insurance carrier directly. For legal disputes, consult a qualified attorney.

MyBillRX does not store or retain the documents you upload. However, you are solely responsible for any document you choose to upload.

While we do not require it, you may choose to redact identifying information from your bill (such as your name, member ID, or date of birth) before uploading. The analysis is based on billing codes and amounts — personal identifiers are not needed for an accurate result.

By uploading a document, you represent that you are authorized to submit it and that you understand the document is transmitted to a third-party AI service (Anthropic) for processing under their terms.

AI-generated analyses may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. CDT code descriptions, insurance coverage rules, and fee schedules vary by plan, region, and year. MyBillRX does not warrant that any analysis is complete, current, or accurate for your specific situation.

Do not make financial, medical, or legal decisions based solely on a MyBillRX report. Use it as a starting point for understanding your bill, then verify with the relevant parties.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MYBILLRX AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR:

• Any inaccuracy, error, or omission in a generated analysis
• Any action taken or not taken in reliance on a MyBillRX report
• Any billing dispute outcome, insurance denial, or financial loss
• Any medical or dental outcome resulting from decisions informed by MyBillRX
• Unauthorized access to data transmitted to or from the Service
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

IN NO EVENT WILL MYBILLRX'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC REPORT AT ISSUE.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyBillRX and its operators from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right.

Access to a dental bill analysis requires a one-time payment processed by Stripe. By completing payment, you authorize the charge.

Due to the immediate delivery of digital analysis reports, all sales are final and non-refundable unless the Service fails to generate any report at all. If you experience a technical failure that prevents report delivery, contact us within 24 hours and we will either re-process your document or issue a refund at our discretion.

The MyBillRX name, logo, website design, and generated report format are proprietary. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on MyBillRX content without written permission. Reports generated from your documents are for your personal use only.

You may not use MyBillRX to:

• Upload documents you are not authorized to submit
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the analysis methodology
• Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law
• Submit fraudulent payment information

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
